Hey, blonde beauties! 💛 Summer means lots of pool time, but did you know that chlorine and other pool chemicals can turn your gorgeous locks green? 😱 Don’t worry, I’ve got some tips to keep your hair safe and stunning! ✨

1. **Rinse Before You Swim**: Wet your hair with clean water before diving in. This reduces the amount of chlorine your hair can absorb.

2. **Conditioner is Your Friend**: Apply a leave-in conditioner before hitting the pool. It creates a barrier between your hair and the harsh chemicals.

4. **Rinse & Wash After Swimming**: Rinse your hair immediately after swimming to wash out any chlorine. Use a gentle, clarifying shampoo and a deep conditioner to restore moisture.

5. **Use a Hair Mask**: Treat your hair to a nourishing hair mask once a week to keep it healthy and vibrant.

6. ** Heat Styling**: Chlorine can make your hair more fragile. Give it a break from heat styling tools to prevent further damage, or make sure to apply your heat protectant. Don't have one... we do, at Cheveux.

We would like to congratulate Mike on his retirement and thank him for showing us the reigns. It’s been wonderful getting to meet the people of Jennings, and we can’t wait to serve the community as Mike and Dion did!

The new owners of Mike’s Seafood and Steakhouse, soon to be Gumbeaux’s Bar & Grill, are Trenton Pelloquin, Kevin Hardy, and Jaime Deshotel.

We will be open tonight, still serving Mike’s menu and can’t wait to see everyone at 5:00
