The Asa Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe will be opening in April for tours!

The Mansion was the home of philanthropist, railroad magnate, and founder of Lehigh University, Asa Packer. Built in 1861 by Philadelphia architect, Samuel Sloan, the home was constructed over a span of two years and cost a total of $14,000 dollars. Topped by a red-ribbed tin roof and a central cupola, or belvedere, the home was built over a cast iron frame and consists of 3 stories, 18 rooms and approximately 11,000 square feet of living space. Make sure you take the tour! ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Show Your Bike Some Love Valentine’s Day Clinic
Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10 am, inside the Lehighton Outdoor Center Bike Shop
We’ll meet at 10 am, introduce ourselves, and start this hands-on clinic on how to properly :
• clean and lubricate the different parts on your bicycle
• get your bike in tip-top shape before riding season
• adjust your bike so you feel the love and feel “one” with it
We’ll wrap up with a discussion numerous ways you can feel more comfortable on your bike . The better you feel on the bike, the more you’ll enjoy that relationship with your two-wheeled friend.
Spring is not far off, so don’t wait until the last minute to show your bike a little love!
