Something amazing happened this week, besides another Blue Ridge Artisan Days...We reached 2.6K followers!!! Thank you everyone for following and sharing!

Several of our area artisans and small businesses have been effected by loss of electricity, water, possessions and/or shelter. Joining us for the October 26th Blue Ridge Artisan Days-Crafting into Autumn events is a way to directly help them out by purchasing items that they have made. Some of our artisans are offering a portion of their proceeds to disaster relief. And we are partnering up with Lamar Elementary to collect financial donations as well as new blankets, coats, gloves and hats as overnight and early morning temperatures are already getting below 40 degrees. Whether you come just to drop off items for the "Spread the Warmth" campaign or to shop with our amazing artisans and small businesses we thank you for your support for everyone in our communities! @followers

ARTISAN of the WEEK!! It's been awhile since we did an Artisan of the week, so please let me introduce you to Donovan at Stoplight Stained Glass! He's been working with stained glass for over 14 years and loves not only creating but teaching others! About 3 years ago he started pushing the boundaries of what could be made with stained glass. Now he makes pop-culture pieces along side the traditional pieces!
