Why hire a DJ instead of just using a Bluetooth speaker? Music is music so why spend the money to hire a DJ when a Bluetooth speaker plays music too? This is a common question in the wedding industry today. It’s similar to why hire a professional chef when you have some ramen noodles and spaghetti sauce at home. A DJ controls the room and the crowd. In order to throw a good party a playlist cannot just be played through. Each song has to be selected in order to keep people dancing. Most songs also should not be played all the way through because people loose interest. A DJ not only is responsible for picking music to keep people dancing, but also mixing each song in and out. The DJ is the host and m/c of the night. He knows what’s happening and where the guests should be. The DJ keeps the night on track. A Bluetooth speaker may play music, but can never replace a DJ. My name is Rylan White. I am currently a Pre-Med Biology Major at ETSU. Ryle Up Entertainment was founded in 2023 from my passion for music. As someone who has been to a lot of events with formals and events, I understand that music is the most important aspect of a successful event.
