Tomorrow night is the night! The Save the Deer party at the Johnson American Legion! We’re going to be serving up some DELICOUS food tomorrow from 5-8pm… including our Prime Rib Sandwiches AND our cheesy hashbrown casserole! Both available in limited quantities so get there early! 😍

It is especially true as the holidays are approaching and even more so for our small town businesses. We have a lot of absolute gems 💎 for you to choose from to do your holiday shopping or even just for a night out meal out! Please support local, every dollar spent helps support friends and family you know personally and keeps a local business and someone’s dream alive.

Times. They sure are a changin, aren’t they? It’s been pretty hard for everyone. My heart hurts daily seeing all of the restaurants closing. Places that are top notch. Best in their field. Almost seems like we see a new one in Omaha almost every day now.

Here’s some truth. It’s only my truth to tell. I can’t speak for anyone else. But I’ve tried different specials. Social media targeted marketing. Radio. Right now it seems like if it’s not a Husker home game, we are down in sales every day. We usually have the food truck to supplement those slower days, but it’s getting colder.

Dollars are tighter today. And when each one of you comes in, I don’t take that lightly. Spending your money with us makes me keep doing this. So my only ask is, if you have the funds and want to splurge, come visit Muchachos. Or any of the other great amazing local restaurants in Lincoln. If you go to Omaha, avoid .jessnpaul but everyone else there is cool. (Bc enough people don’t know our schtick-we love them so very much. You should definitely go!)

Starbucks will survive. Go try a shaken brown sugar espresso from .ne. McDonalds will survive. Go try the rotating burger at . Panda Express will survive. Go try the orange chicken at Chopsticks! I could do this all day. ALL DAY SON!

Your local dollars stay in Lincoln when you support small business. We all need you now more than ever. We all appreciate your support. Come let us serve you!

Hey Herd!

Have you missed us? We've missed you! We've been busy with private catering events lately, so we haven't been out and about with the food truck! But, that's about to change!

We'll be hanging out tomorrow in Falls City at the SCC Learning Center for the Community Medical Center Health Fair! Then you can catch us at the Save the Deer Party at the Johnson American Legion on Friday! We will have our normal menu for Tuesday's event, and working on something special for Friday! Stay tuned!

Hey Herd!

Update - I had accidentally mis labeled a pan of my brisket as pork - so I do not currently have enough pork for all of these orders, but will have some on Friday! Please comment here if you’d like to pick up Friday, or if you’re getting brisket still like to pick up today

I will be packaging up some brisket and pulled pork later today if anyone is interested in a few pounds! Send me a message or comment here with how many pounds of what product you'd like! Pick up will be available later today and tomorrow in Johnson! $10/pound of pork and $15/pound of Brisket!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It’s hard to believe October is already almost over! 😅 With November just days away, we’re very excited to make a HUGE announcement. 📣

Some of you may have already heard, but we’re incredibly excited to announce that we have come to an agreement to purchase the Zion Lutheran Church property, just north of Johnson. As of November 15th, we will take over the property and begin work to be able to use it as a catering facility for our company. We also intend to have some retail area for our products along with some other fun things.. so stay tuned as we announce when things will be ready!

More than anything, we want to express our sincere gratitude to the Zion Church Council for their belief in us and our company and our vision for the Church property. We are so excited to make it our own, and allow it to continue to be a staple in the community - just with a new look and purpose.

We are thrilled for this new journey, and hope you all follow along as we continue to grow our vision for our company! 🙏🏻

We event put a special Fall Favorite on the menu - our YerBelly! Our delicious pulled pork sandwiched between ooey gooey cinnamon rolls as buns and then drizzled with icing!

I’ve made you wait long enough… tonight’s special is a HOT BEEF SUNDAE 🤤 this is one of my favorite fall specials and I’ve waited long enough for it to make its debut!

That being said, there’s a few items that WON’T be on the menu tonight… mainly being pulled pork 😲 however, I do have a few pounds packaged for sale that will be available (first come first serve) you will also see we have pulled chicken tonight as another option!
