Big News! The UC Merced medical education program – striving to help breach the shortage of physicians and other health care professionals in the Central Valley – took a major step forward with a GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY for the new Medical Education Building that is slated for completion in fall 2026.

The 150,000-square-foot structure will serve as home for the university’s San Joaquin Valley PRIME Plus Program (SJV PRIME+), an academic partnership with the San Francisco University of California and its Fresno campus. Turner Construction - Mid-Atlantic

On three floors of classrooms, labs and offices, the new facility will also incorporate UC Merced legacy Public Health and Psychological Sciences faculty and students as well as the Health Sciences Research Institute.

Their event was “over the top” featuring custom hardhats, shovels, a dirtbox, sand, decor, and so much more! Nemours is award winning and they continue to set the standard lead the way in children’s health.

Our owner Kimberly Morford Baeth ran the marathon in 2013. Today marks the 11th Anniversary of the bombings.

May we remember the innocent lives lost and the many survivors who were injured in a senseless act of terrorism. We also remember their loved ones, whose lives were forever changed that day. And we honor the dedication and heroism of the first responders whose swift actions saved many.
