It’s been a hard year to start flower farming here in Colorado. We’ve had 6-7 hail storms destroying gardens, it’s been a cooler, wetter spring, and it’s my first year, so I’m learning as I grow. The unpredictability of gardening is both rewarding and disappointing and usually all at the same time! My sunflowers and zinnias are just now getting started where I’d hoped they’d be further along by now. But my roses are thriving and so are my tomatoes! This rose arrangement is sitting on my picnic table giving me joy in that little section of my heart where only flowers could.
