I had some fun with the tree and bush trimmings that we cut down today at the farm. The willow is a tri-color willow bush or also known as dappled willow bush. I also included a mix of blue spruce and Norway spruce branches. I like the color contrast between the branches and hope they last in the water.
Unilock pavers selected Lauren Rose Farm for a marketing photo shoot due to our creative and extensive entertaining areas that are built with their products. It was fun to host the team and share the venue with them. A shout out to JML Landscape who designed and built the hardscape.
Lauren Rose Farm hosted the Johnstown Chamber of Commerce last night for our first big event in our new timber frame venue. The tasty dinner was provided by Ghost Writer Public House and business members shared information about their services. We celebrated with some champagne (of course!) and the rain cleared away to display a stunning rainbow later in the evening. Thank you to the Johnstown Sportsmen's Club for their assistance in making this community event a success!
The parking project is underway at the farm. The grass parking lot is getting a huge boost from high tech geogrid reinforcement tiles from True Grid. 40 parking spaces will be stable and have no mud! Lots of work first....
