New Day Employment Network Inc. is sponsoring a 1 mile walk on October 8th, from 9 am to 10 am in downtown Joliet in front of the old courthouse. We're walking to celebrate and honor those loved ones we've lost to Breast Cancer / Diabetes. We're also walking to celebrate survivors, caregivers, and to educate the public about prevention and detection to reduce the risk of these diseases.
Our aim is to bring Breast Cancer/Diabetes Awareness by sharing important information with the public, like the importance of getting mammograms, health screenings, cholesterol/diabetes check-ups, exercise, diet, vision care, dental care and more.
