Congratulations to Dr. Glow and the Kay R. Pace Dance Team on their first place finish! 🥇We are Pace proud! 🥇
On Saturday, December 10, Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) presented “Sounds of the Season – A Black Tie Event” at the district’s Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro (PAC) – located at 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro. This premier event was held to raise funds to increase scholarships and to expand support for college-bound CCPS students!
This event consisted of special arrangements of holiday staples such as “Joy to the World,” “What Child is This?” and “O Holy Night” as well as special guest performers. The Atlanta Symphoria was the featured instrumental accompaniment supported by orchestral, choral and dance students from Mount Zion High School, M.E. Stilwell School of the Arts and Kay Pace Elementary School of the Arts.
Happy Holidays from the Pace Performers! Today Pace Performers traveled to Central Office to wish all a Happy Holidays. Students performed several holiday songs.

Today Jamal Josef (choreographer, dancer, and author) visited our school. He held a workshop on Dance and the importance of following your dreams. At the end of the workshop, all boys received a copy of his book Black Boys Dance Too. Thank you Mr Jamal and the CCPS Fine Arts department for another great #ArtsInOurSchoolsMonth activity.
Kay Pace continues our celebration of #ArtsInOurSchoolsMonth with a vocal workshop in Partnership with Spivey Hall. Today students attended a workshop with Dr. Craig Hurley from Spivey Hall's Children’s Choir. Students learned about how to use their body to create a good singing tone, how to control their breath and how to best pronounce words to sing. They finished the workshop learning two songs in different languages. Thanks Spivey for an amazing experience!
