Bearded Bouquet was founded in 2019, with Zach Jones as the lead designer and owner. Zach, who is originally from the Jonesboro area, and has recently moved back to the area after a stint of living in Asheville, North Carolina where he worked on the floral team at the Biltmore Estate. Biltmore Estate is Americas largest privately owned residence and is renowned for its acres of gardens as well as its interior and architecture. While working on the Estate Zach worked in the main house creating floral arrangements for the palatial home as well as maintaining a unique collection of plants that graced the 175,000+ sq. ft of the home.

While his time at Biltmore was stellar and a tremendous learning experience, he decided to move Back to Northeast Arkansas to be closer to his family and to bring the Biltmore style of European Garden style arrangements to his hometown. Bearded Bouquet specializes in bringing dreams to reality, whether it be a bouquet to brightens someones day or once in a lifetime events like weddings. We like to say here at Bearded Bouquet, “Because or Just Because”, because you don’t always need a reason to have flowers.

Bearded Bouquet is a full service flower and retail shop, with everyday gifts such as candles and decorative accessories and gourmet food products, perfect on their own or in a gift box. And with Zach’s experience with different and exotic plants we keep a wide array of plants from the traditional to the “what is that?” Since we are a full service flower shop we offer same day delivery of gorgeous blooms and lush greenery, all based on seasonality an availability to us to ensure the freshest cuts for our clients. We also buy local when possible and when in season here in our area, everything from peonies, zinnias, sunflowers, and gladiolus. Zach also likes to practice a technique he learned at Biltmore simply referred to as “cutting”, where we forage for greenery on land we have access too where can have fresh local greenery not traditionally found in daily arrangements, like spirea and magnolia and honeysuckle. This gives our arrangements that natural picked from the garden style we strive and are known for.

Because we use flowers based on seasonality as well as availability we simplified the ordering process for our clients, by offering them options based on popular seasonal and traditional color schemes, ensuring you get the most bang for your buck with the freshest blooms. And because we work simply based on color schemes this means that every arrangement is custom for your order and will never be exactly identical to another order we send out, making it truly a one of a kind gift.
