I married Stacey & Noah today on the island in Mrs. Stocks’ Park in Hillsdale as part of their $1,000 Wedding Package. It was the most beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony. About 30 people arrived at this wonderful venue to celebrate their union. Best wishes to you two, today and always.

Natalie and Chrystal were our first same-sex wedding couple. The phone call came in that two ladies wanted to get married and they wanted me to perform the ceremony. They asked me what they needed to do. I told them to bring a marriage license and I'd handle the rest. First off, same-sex marriage is legal in Michigan. Secondly, consenting adults who want to get married and can obtain a marriage license should be able to have a legal ceremony at the place of their choice. [ 267 more words ]

Mitchell and Brandie were already a family when they decided to become husband and wife. Three months notice was plenty of time to gather the families and arrange a wedding date to make their civil union a legal union. They chose the Thousand Dollar Wedding Package and reserved our largest and most popular room.
