JSA is proud to partner with Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference to host their 2025 Women's Golf Championship at Twin Hills Golf & Country Club

The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has reach an agreement with the Joplin Sports Authority (JSA) to host the 2025 KCAC Women's Golf Championship at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club, the conference office announced Wednesday. The event will be held April 24-26, 2025.

🏐 ADULT VOLLEYBALL 🏐

Registration is now open for the Adult Coed Volleyball League beginning January 10!

All games will be played at the Boys and Girls Club located at 317 Comingo Ave. on Wednesday evenings. Game times will be scheduled starting at 6:00pm.

Registration fee includes: game ball and officials. Registration deadline is December 27 or until the league is full, whichever occurs first.

SCHIFFERDECKER GOLF COURSE CART PATH RENOVATION ⛳

Resurfacing work on the cart paths of Joplin Schifferdecker Golf Course is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 2. Due to all of the cart paths being under construction and large equipment working on and around the course, the golf course will close on October 2 through the month of October.

During this closure, staff will also be able to fast-track other needed projects of verticutting and aeration, overseeding the greens, painting the clubhouse and preparing the floor for carpet replacement, and repairing and installing drainage at Hole 18.

Due to the course being closed during the project, season pass holders will be given an extension on their pass for the duration that it is closed. The clubhouse will remain open in October and guests will be able to take advantage of the putting green, simulator, and pro shop. They can also access the end-of-season sale of merchandise that is offered.

As the work is completed and the opening nears, the City will announce reopening dates through local news media sources, its websites, www.joplinmo.org www.joplinparks.org and Facebook.
