Born in Illinois, raised in Los Angeles, Valerie decided on the magic of this High Desert to follow the Heart-Led Dream. Valerie is a teacher, business owner and an intuitive. Her teachers came from many & varied paths and she incorporates what has worked for her in all she shares thru Women's Circles, Retreats and a variety of classes and workshops. In 2011, Valerie along with two other women, opened Rainbow Stew in Old Town Yucca Valley. Rainbow Stew proudly offers the work of local artists, hosts a monthly Art Show with Chaparral Artists as well as offering a wide & eclectic variety of gifts & treasures along with Healing Therapies, classes and workshops for "All the People to Feed the Mind & Spirit". During the Anniversary Celebration at Wind Walker, Valerie will be offering quick mini "readings"..

It is a custom in many nations to have a Prayer Tree. Locals would tie a ribbon honoring one who has passed, or a prayer for someone in need. Come place your ribbon on the Prayer Tree during our 10 year anniversary of the Wind Walkers Medicine Wheel in Joshua Tree November 11th from 1 pm to 6. Free admission.

There will be local healers introducing themselves and their services to our community. Thai massage, sound healing, tarot readings, Reiki masters and other healers will provide their services. Local entertainment, taco stand and other local business will also be attending. Blessing of the labyrinth and drum ceremony to celebrate and re-dedicate the medicine wheel mission.will also take place. So if you have a drum, bring it.

Ten years. Alot can happen. We planted the walkway leading to the wheel and now ten years later look how it has changed. It is mindblowing to think of the many people that walked that path. From places far away and close to home. Each one blessing it with their energy. We are forever grateful to everyone who added their footsteps to this path. We ask you to take a moment and reflect how you have grown in the last ten years. AHO

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.
