Another great downtown vendor opportunity!

Apply to be a vendor at this year’s Gallery Walk! Vendors are hosted in the Sealaska Plaza under the covered area which was generously donated by Sealaska Heritage Institute. Access to electrical included. Space is limited. “Members” and “Friends” of DBA will get booth preference.

Vendors are asked to bring their own table, chairs, decorations, and to stay open throughout the event from 4:30PM – 7:30PM. There will be time allotted before the event and after for setup and tear down.

There will be 4 exciting cruises throughout the day. Kids will have a blast on the special cruise hosted by Juneau Public Libraries . Those interested in environmental education can join the cruise hosted by Department of Fish and Game - Official, where you'll learn about the local marine ecosystem. And for the music enthusiasts, we have two captivating live music cruises hosted by the The Pajama Cat Sharks! Boarding for the Harbor Cruises will be at the Seadrome Dock.

Join Net Your Problem , the SE Alaska Fish Habitat Partnership, SE Alaska Watershed Coalition, Trout Unlimited and Grundéns USA for a fish-tastic film festival! We’ll be screening Alaskan films that showcase ways we steward our environment - from recycling, to supporting traditional lifestyles and even the emerging mariculture industry.

Its all happening on May 4 during the Juneau Maritime Festival from 12-4 at the Gold Town Theater. The films will be played on a loop and end with a final loop and Q&A at 3pm. Soda and popcorn will be provided and the first 50 people will receive free Grundens swag!

Bring your old gear! We will be collecting PVC raingear to recycle.

Remember to stop by the Elizabeth Peratrovich Plaza on the cruise ships docks on Saturday, May 4 from 11am to 7pm!

The Partnership will be there with a fun craft event for kids where they can use their creativity and make a paper bowl jellyfish! Stop by and learn more about our effort to build a new arts and culture center in Juneau.

Come and have your picture taken with Miss Alaska Volunteer, Holly, at Juneau Economic Development Council (JEDC) booth (39) this Saturday during the Maritime Festival!

Holly is currently preparing to compete for the national title of Miss Volunteer America in June. Her platform focuses on making mental health services more accessible for Alaska residents, and she has been a dedicated advocate for this cause for over 8 years. As a member of the board of directors of the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention, Holly is determined to raise awareness about this important issue.

With less than 2 months remaining before the competition, Holly is in need of your support to reach her fundraising goal. Visit our booth for a chance to win a $500 cash prize! Holly will be available for photos at the JEDC photo booth (site 39) from 12 pm -1 pm, will be judging booth decorations from 1 pm -3 pm, and will be available for photos again from 3 pm - 4 pm.
