So, to commemorate this illustrious natal, we are participating in National Talk Like Shakespeare Day! If the thought of doing this "makes your hair stand on end," never fear! You use his quotes every day. So give us your favorite best of the Bard and we will await your pithy parlance "with bated breath!"

PARENTS! Do you have a Shakes-fan teenager in your home who wants to discover the joy of either performing the beauty of the Bard on stage, or learning how to produce a Shakespearean play? Well the Kravis Center has a new program for you! Whether it's discovering the magic behind iambic pentameter, the art of stage combat or the wonders of design, THE PATRICIA AND ALAN LEBOW SHAKESPEARE INTENSIVE will immerse your theater kid in the world of Shakespearean performance. The camp runs July 1-5, 2024 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Over this 5-day program, high school students (ages 15-18) will receive one-on-one instruction from industry professionals (including our own Artistic Director and Dramaturge!) in either Acting or Design. The Intensive will culminate in a student performance/exhibition on Friday, July 5, open to friends and families. Students will also enjoy a post-intensive field trip to see the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s production of KING LEAR on July 11 at 8pm.

Spaces fill fast so sign up here today:

The Kravis Center is located near downtown West Palm Beach and is easily accessible via I-95 and the Turnpike. Complimentary self-parking and paid valet parking is available.
