The Halls ❤

It was my first time over at Vintage Oaks Events in Green Cove Springs for a wedding. What a beautiful day it was! Everything from the weather, the incredible venue, the live band, and of course the stellar bride & groom to-be was truly picture perfect!! Tyler and Seanna were my last wedding couple of the Spring 2024 season before taking leave with my family, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful send off.

I cannot thank you both enough for having me capture your big day! I wish you both all the love, joy, and blessings to come in the years ahead! May you both create years of endless fond memories!! Enjoy some sneaks of your magical day❤

The Halls | 5.4.24 ❤

I closed out my spring wedding season this past Saturday. What a magical day it was!

There are sooooo many incredible sneaks coming this week to showcase their big day, but this one in particular stole my heart.

Fun fact, after trying to search for the perfect chandelier to showcase at Vintage Oaks Events, the owners decided to just make their own! Boy is she a beauty in person😍

The Siels ❤

April showers bring May flowers...and a sign of good luck on your wedding day, right?! The sky fell out the morning of Chloe and Dustin's wedding day; however, in true Florida fashion, it cleared up just before their ceremony. These two came together as one in front of their ever-so-loving family and friends this past weekend.

They held a more private and intimate celebration back at their home later that evening and danced the night away. There wasn't a single person who wasn't welcoming, caring, or appreciative of the time my trusty second, Keri, and I spent with them that day.

Chloe, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day! I hope you and Dustin have a wonderful time on your honeymoon! I can't wait to see pics and hear what all you got to explore! Enjoy these sneaks on your downtime ❤

The Mooneys ❤

It’s been said that we really only fall in love with three people in our lifetime.

First Love: The young, puppy, innocent love that is bursting with the intensity and passion you only see in movies.

Second Love: The hard love; is the love that brings with it great pain in many forms, but it also brings valuable lessons.

Third Love: The unexpected love that creeps up on you when you aren’t looking to fall in love.

The theme of Monica & Tim's wedding was Third Times A Charm - that third love!!
These two were something infectious. Monica, when we first met at the barn, you had this presence and aura about you that just felt like we've known each other for years. It was easy, comfortable, relatable, and loving. When we collectively met Tim, it all made sense. You two presented a strong presence of love, friendship and a team. Your day was filled with all those things and more! You had a slew of family and friends supporting you by your side, and it made the day all the more special. Every element had a purpose, and while all of it was unique, it all came together to represent you both so well.

We are so glad y'all chose to celebrate your big day at Bar J. It couldn't have been more picture perfect! You reserved a seat in honor of your brother during the ceremony, and when I tell you he showed up and shined for you on your big day...boy did he SHINE!!

I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and years of joyous memories. Thank you both for allowing me to capture this special day, and I look forward to a time where we cross paths again!

Oh these walls ❤

The stories these walls could tell. The memories these walls have preserved and continue to bottle. I'm honored to be selected as one of Bar J Ranch's talented team of preferred vendors over the last few years. We've had the pleasure of being a part of some of the most amazing moments celebrated on this Ranch. From the outside ceremony site to the dance floor inside, we've witnessed and captured a slew of cherished weddings & events.

In all the years in this industry, I've never worked with a group of vendors who move and groove as seamlessly as we all do. When you're there, you're family - vendors, clients & guests. So much so, that's their motto...Come as strangers, Leave as friends!"

I'm working on some sneaks for this weekend's wedding celebrating The Mooneys, and I just had to stop and share this image. Collectively, we've all done a lot of can kicking, laughing, planning, setting up, and tearing down right in this spot. It's one of my/our personal favorite spots to soak in some fresh air, take it all in, and look upon the dance floor at the many "stranger-turned-friends" dancing the night away. In this moment, the prep work was done, the details were taken, and so we stood back for a brief moment knowing soon, these walls were about to add another core memory to the Bar J & Team's bank.

I speak for us all when I say, thank you for choosing us for your life's greatest moments. We don't take these days lightly, for granted, or treat you as just another number walking through those doors. It means a lot to be a part of something so special in my hometown. While I thoroughly enjoy capturing my own set of clients at their stellar venues of choice, this one right here will always hold a huge piece of my heart.

Congratulations to Julia & Josh as they both exchanged their vows in front their amazing family and friends at Rayshell Ranch! There wasn't a cloud in the sky to be seen Saturday - the bright sun made the bridal party's colorful attire just POP!!

It was a beautiful day exploring around the grounds of the Ranch and taking in all love and joy that encompassed their day.

Cody + Courtney ❤

Believe it or not, it poured, and it poured, and it poured some more the day of their engagement session. We hawked the radar and decided to chance it. We squeezed in 40 minutes, hopped back in our cars, and on the way home, it rained again...Florida😏

I enjoy meeting new clients, learning about their love story, and creating some magic. One of my favorite things about being a photographer though is reliving their session while editing - Courtney's smile is absolutely infectious!

Cody + Courtney, thank you for chancing Florida's moody weather with me! It was so great meeting you two in person! I absolutely enjoyed capturing the spark between you both. The love you share really shined in these images, and I hope you both reflect on that day, and those feelings for years to come. The Harners ❤

Last weekend, I was invited back out to Bar J Ranch to capture another beautiful wedding for Alex & Ashley! The sun was BEAMING, and the blue sky was popping - just an absolute goregous day!

These two were surrounded by a ton of love and support from their closest friends & family. Bar J put together an amazing decor set for these two to fit the inspo they were going for, and The Grub Brothers provided the most DELICIOUS BBQ spread for them!!

I don't know if time change is wiping me out, a busy wedding season, or simply a rainy day slum, but I'm beat today! Is it just me?! I'm looking forward to a calm, cozy week editing away in my cave!!

Side note...meet Bar J Ranch's newest lil member, Hiccup. While photographing the Harner wedding this past Saturday, I got to meet this lil cutie. He was out moseying around with his momma, Petunia, enjoying some warm weather, blue skies, and gentle breeze🥰

The Combs ❤

It was another crazy fun wedding at Bar J Ranch last Saturday! There were happy tears shed, tons of laughter and dancing, celebratory jello shots, a cake smash moment, a surprise guest costume change, photo booth shenanigans, split pants, and some clothing may have come off!!

Fortunately, the rain held off until the end of the night and then it was an absolute downpour! Gage and Greg's wedding checked off many firsts for us, and the photos left to relive the day did not disappoint! Selecting pics for sneaks was a bit challenging! I hope you both are enjoying your time around Europe!! Enjoy this snippet of your day in your down time!!

End of the night flat lays may be my new favorite feature...

Cheers to 2024 Grads!!

This beauty graduates from UF this summer and then moves along to pursue her Masters! Morgan is the definition of a hard worker to the core. She works, she is about to graduate with her Bachelors, and she just became a Real Estate Sales Associate. Anything she puts her mind to, she achieves!

I've literally seen you grow up from a tot to becoming an adult, and I couldn't be more stinkin proud of you, girl!

Mr. & Mrs. Donovan❤

Being chosen to photograph one's wedding is a huge honor...a role I don't take lightly. There are some weddings though that just touch my soul a bit deeper. When Rebecca reached out to me to see if I was available for her big day, I was extremely excited and very grateful! The Fell Family hold a special place in my heart, and after a personal tragedy, I lost touch with everyone. We went from seeing each other on the weekly, to me moving back to North Florida and only connecting via social media.

This day meant SO MUCH to me!! I got to see a new version of a gal, all grown up, and starting a brand new chapter in her life. I got to see and squeeze her parents - I may have even cried a little🙃 To watch this day unfold behind my lens was a beautiful honor.

From start to finish, these two were surrounded by love, laughter, and happy tears. Everyone in attendance brought all the support, and all the fun. The dance floor stayed packed and made for some fun reception photos. The venue...sheesh...what's not to love about The Lake House?!

Rebecca & Travis, thank you so much for having me capture your big day! I wish you all the best in this new chapter. Love hard and never stop dating!

Introducing, Baby Beckham❤

This morning, I got to cross over the state line and visit one of my favorite families, The Liddell Family!

The rainy weather outside made for the most perfect cozy baby snuggles inside.

This session was a bit sentimental to me. I've had the honor of capturing their engagement, wedding, maternity, and now as a family of three. I left this morning feeling absolutely whole!

Breanna & Matt, thank you SO MUCH for trusting me with these precious moments. I will never be able to express how much your loyalty, your support, and your kindness mean to me. I am so incredibly happy for you both and this new chapter you're experiencing. Thank you for inviting me to your home, and sharing your sweet family...including princess, Ellie🥰

Mr. & Mrs. West | All 4 One Farms, Jacksonville, FL❤

I was updating my blog on my site and realized I never featured the beautiful gallery of The West wedding!!

Lauren & Ryan exchanged their wedding vows at the gorgeous All 4 One Farms. Everything from the yummy sunset lighting, mossy trees, horses, and rich greenery surroundings, to the beautiful bridal suites made this day full of magic! These two were surrounded by tons of love from their bridal party (who brought the fun), their family (who brought the love) and their friends (who brought the dance moves & the support), they're blessed beyond measure. OH, and a moment for her dress because those puffy sleeves were everything!

I just so happened to be the lucky one to capture their day and it was an absolute honor to do so! This gallery encompassed my love for greenery, golden hour and a backdrop of color pop! Give me ALL the colors, please😍

Sundays are for family❤

After a full work week, fresh air and the great outdoors were much needed this weekend.

I mulled over my business schedule a lot last year, and this past Sunday really struck me to make a change going forward. Unless I have a wedding or holiday mini session scheduled, Sunday's will be blocked off for family. This means no sessions, no editing, no business oriented screen time at all.

I love creating and documenting magic for families, and will have six other days to do so. The same magic needs to be spent and created with my loved ones. It also hits harder for me being a mom. While I see my lil one on the daily, the hours fly and before I know it, the day's over. I SEE her 100% when I can check out, and it's one of the most beautiful, rewarding parts of my day - my husband and the rest of our family deserve that same energy.

This past Sunday, my husband and I took our lil one to the same park that we played on as children - different equipment, same nostalgia. We let our maniac dog, Hank, burn out some energy. We soaked in some incredible weather. I watched the wind blow through my daughter's hair. I captured giggles as her dad pushed her on the swing and took her down the slide. I chased her around while she chased her own shadow, and together, my husband and I watched her explore parts of the great big world around her. It was a MUCH needed, enjoyable family day!

Monday - Saturday I will be spending time documenting & editing your family's fondest memories, and on Sundays, I'll be documenting mine ❤
