This. I’ve had so many people I never knew were watching tell me I inspired them with my small business journey. It is the biggest compliment I’ll ever receive. You are capable of moving mountains if you put your mind to it, just don’t give up. I would do anything to have more time with my family.. and I did. I wanted to make a post to give you a heads up that last night I started feeling rough, and my bp started to climb compared to where I’ve been.

I’m doing the absolute best I can, but I am pushing myself too hard. I’m going to do the best I can today, with Kendra there, but if we hit a point where we get behind we will have to pause on answering the phone and taking orders. I will keep you posted if I feel worse, but last night we were considering going to the hospital again for how I was feeling.

I’ve been diagnosed with a specific heart failure problem, and my heart isn’t strong enough to keep going the way I was. I physically am not capable. I am going to continue to give you everything I have, but know it’s drastically less than what I could do.

They put me on more meds on Monday, and if I adjust well to them, they are putting me on even more next month. I’m sharing these details, simply so you understand that I am trying as much as I possibly can.. however my body needs are screaming for me to pay attention to them.

I love this community, I am not going anywhere if I have a say in it. The flower shop is not going anywhere.

Please continue to have grace and patience with my health. I don’t like it either, and I want to be here for my family, friends and community for years to come.. in order to do that, I have to listen to my body now and get my heart stronger.

Hey everyone! We will be open tomorrow 10am-4pm to work on the Hyde funeral service, and deliver all orders TOMORROW 7/18, so that we don’t interfere with the service Friday morning.

We will be closing a little early on Friday, as Kendra and I both have appointments that we cannot miss. We will figure out how late we can work, and post tomorrow. Thank you so much for understanding!

Hey everyone! Due to pending funeral services, we may be open the rest of the week. I don’t want to post we are closed and then be available to help you. As of right now, I WILL BE OPEN 7/17 from 10am-4pm. Until I have more information, it will be a day to day update.

*If the service(s) are this weekend or next week (7/21-7/26) we will be closed the rest of the week so I can continue to adjust to my new medications.

Hey everyone, Caitlin here! I WILL be open today, however, it’s going to be 10am when I get there. I will be accepting orders for the Kirchner service all day, and working as long as I physically can on them.. and be delivering the service by 3pm TODAY. If we stay busy all day, I will keep working past 4, but the second round of orders will not be delivered by 3pm (they will be delivered after the visitation has started). Your order(s) will make it there, but I’m not functioning at my normal speed at all.

Today, I’ve been trying to get up and move since 6 and have yet to be able to stay awake. I’m trying, and I will get there, but please be patient with me today. It’s my first day back in two weeks and my body is still absolutely adjusting to my medications. I’ve never felt this way before, ever. This is something that is brand new to me and very hard to adjust to. Since July 3rd, I’ve only had 3 days I’ve been able to stay awake all day long.. it’s completely out of my control, and I’m very much forcing today.

I love and appreciate your support and understanding so much.. I’m so sorry for all of these health issues being out of my control.

Window update! I know a lot of people in town enjoy the shops windows being painted.. as much as I love painting them.. I may not be able to paint them for a while.

I free hand the drawings on the outside of the window with a dry erase marker before I paint them on the inside.. and this heat is really messing with me. If I’m outside more than a few minutes and it’s overly hot/ humid I’m getting dizzy, nauseous and losing my vision.

I promise you, I love painting my windows, and I’ll get back to it as soon as I’m physically capable.

Hey everyone! Next week is fair week, who is ready?! As of right now, we only have tickets on the board for Monday, July 15th. With that being said, I want to take it easy coming into work.

With next week being fair week, it is our slowest week in the whole year, so Kendra and I have decided to close the shop Wednesday July 17th- Friday July 19th.

We WILL be open Monday 15th, and Tuesday 16th.

Kendra has an appointment she has to go to on the 16th, my goal is to be open from 10am-4pm, but it is strongly going to depend on how I feel. I’ve managed to stay awake a total of two days since July 2nd.. I’m doing the best I can, but want to take it easy and not move backwards.

I will be available for tickets to be made for scheduled pick up times. Meaning if you have a birthday or anniversary, I will absolutely make your order, with what flowers we have in stock, and meet you at a set time.
