Cloud 9 ✨

aloha everyone! just wanted to pop in to give a small life update, as some of you may know we moved a few months ago. with trying to settle in to a new home, unpack, maintain working + focus on helping our little one adjust to change we’ve had a lot on our plates. i took a step back from my business to focus on the present and to care for my ‘ohana. in the midst of everything going on we unfortunately had a change in our situation which has caused us to have to move once again (hopefully the last time!) juggling + balancing work life, mom life and everything in between has definitely had its ups and downs. I just want to mahalo everyone for their patience and understanding during this time. we’re excited to get back into things and have begun prepping for 2024. we are looking forward to bouncin’ with you all again very soon! 🤍

Almost the weekend ☁️

Little life update, since getting sick I’ve had to take some steps back from the business to focus on the health of not only myself but my keiki as well! The anxiety of not being socially active is so real! Instagram is one of our highest traffic platforms to generate business, connect with new clientele and to simply network with our community! I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding in regards to responding to your inquiries and questions.

The MW Co. ‘Ohana will also be moving soon! Lots of big changes happening within our little family but we are so excited to get settled in and back to business!!! 🤍

Legitimacy in the bounce house industry is so important! When you book with us we can ensure that you are working with a legitimate, licensed and insured bounce house business! There are so many risks when you book inflatables that are not commercial grade products and/or non-registered businesses in the state they offer services in. We take these extensive measures to protect ourselves and to protect our clients 🫶🏽

I think one of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn being in this particular industry (while living on a small island) is that people will take your ideas, claim it as their own and wipe their hands clean.

They will take your hard work and slap their names on it with no hesitation. They’ll break down your business into bits & pieces just to pick what catches their eye and claim it to be their “inspo” but won’t actually give credit where it’s due.

This island is small and the bounce house community on Oahu is even smaller. I will never talk down on a small business owner, because at the end of the day I know we’re all in it to support ourselves, to support our keiki and to support our Ohana. I get it.

It’s sooo easy to take, take, take. What’s not easy, is to watch a business you built from nothing get used for someone else’s benefit.

Within our first year of being in business I’ve had to look to others off island and even on the mainland to get support, to answer questions, receive guidance etc. I’ve joined countless pages to get in touch with the bounce house community and I’m more than willing to provide help to others the same way it’s been given to me and I do! But it is so frustrating to see original ideas being used, plagiarism on social media platforms, and the use of others to “phish” for information on my pricing, booking process’ etc.

When I say this I mean it whole heartedly, but please create and build a brand/business/company whatever it is on your own merit. On your own time and on your own ideas!

Personally, I already feel like I’m over sharing and typically don’t try to say more than what’s needed or asked of me on social media (those who know, know lol) but I owe it to myself and to the business I created to stand up for it and to speak my peace and phewww 😮‍💨 Feeling better but my anxiety over this is still there! But I’m done. Let’s just hope this reaches the right audience 🤝
