Vu Family Portraits at The Lanikai Beach It’s such a magical and indescribable feeling when you first get to hold your baby in your arms. When they first coo or give you their first toothless smile or when they start to crawl - there are so many moments that you want to remember for forever. They fill your home with life and your heart with so much love, and as a photographer, I couldn’t recommend it enough to photograph all the precious moments and milestones as they grow up (and they really do grow up so fast!)....

OMG, I wrote a blog! For the first time in a long time.

When the pandemic first happened, I had all goals like “blog every week,” plant a garden, and read every day to my children. Then I got pregnant with baby #3 while opening up a gym during a global pandemic, and it was just make it through the day with out barfing.

Blogging however gives me the opportunity to look back on my photoshoots and I love to spend time looking back at all you!

So here is a throwback to inter-island travels. I am crossing my fingers that I have the opportunity to go back to Big Island soon and capture some beautiful people in beautiful places.

It’s official! I am a Mama of three!!!

Believe it or not, I actually never planned on having three kids, nor would I really consider myself a kid person. I love alone time, I enjoy quiet, I like organized spaces. I like to work. Hah! The world has other plans, and I am just riding the wave that was sent my way.

While, I am not going to claim 2021 to be my year. Did that last year🤦‍♀️. Literally at the stroke of the new year I was almost sent to the ER for an infection. But thank goodness for antibiotics!

This year is for us all. This year is for us all to recover, to heal, and to be thankful for what we have. Most importantly, let’s all try to be kind to ourselves and other’s.
