Hi friends!

I can’t thank everyone enough for the support in sending friends my way, viewing my page, spurring me on, etc.

I have been overwhelmed with the amount of bookings I’ve been able to schedule my first year of launching .events. I have my last wedding of the season next weekend, and then on a long break until Spring of 2022.

I haven’t been doing/will be doing much marketing on here because I’ve loved where I’ve been with FE and no pressure to get so many bookings but just the gift to do what I love here and there!

Keep sending people my way and keep sharing my stuff - but just know that when you don’t see me active on here, I’m just staying present doing what I love and serving people through events and vision 🤍✨

We’re gonna start highlighting clients each weekend now. This past week Fulfilling Events got to start working on Hannah and Adam’s wedding in August of 2022 ✨

Let’s talks FLOWERS! We can dream up a bouquet for our wedding, but realistically, flowers are seasonal! Here is a condensed guide to what flowers are readily available/priced well for each wedding season:

Spring: Peonies, Roses, Tulips, Calla Lilies, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, & Ranunculus 💐🌷

Summer: Anemones, Asters, Chrysanthemums, Cornflower, Shasta Daisies, Lavender, Iris, and many more 🌸🌼

Fall: Garden Roses, Dahlias, Orchids, Pampas Grass, & Amaranthus 🥀🌾

So many questions about engagement photo’s and their timeline! Here are some simple tips:

• Book them for at least 3 months before wedding day
• Book your engagement photos with your wedding photographer
• Do your makeup trial on the day of your engagement photos
• Use your session as a time to get used to having fun in front of the camera so you’re ready for the big day
• If they don’t come back in time to use for your invites, use the photos on your wedding website or at the reception

2 years ago I got to do my first big event design project for ‘s Ladies Day. I got to partner with an antique shop and put together one of my favorite arrangements thus far!

This day and project certainly ignited my love for budget friendly design, supporting second hand, and creating a fun atmosphere at events that people enjoy! 🤍

ALSO, and spoke on this stage that I designed... so that’s COOL!

One of the best parts about working in this industry is all the amazing woman I get to chat with! From consultations, to hanging out in bridal suites, and chatting with mothers of the bride! So many different backgrounds, personalities, cultures, and dreams! Woman are just so cool and I hope I can play a small part in making each one I interact with feel special and meaningful.

One of the biggest elements I see brides struggling with is what music to use for their ceremony. Don’t let this be a stressor! It’s way more simple than you think to pick out what kind of music/band you want for your ceremony. Make it about you and your future spouse! Some questions to consider when deciding ceremony music:

• What is the emotion you are trying to stir up for those attending? (I.e., happy, sentimental, romantic, etc?)

• What kind of music do you and your fiancé like to listen to together?

• Do you and your fiancé have a “song”? There’s your processional!

• What style are you going for? This will help you decide between string instruments, piano, a ca****la, etc.

• What is your budget? This will give you easy decision between playing a song through speakers, or hiring a band!

Overall, the music is for the couple! Let it be a true expression of who you are and have fun with it. Guests will love whatever you choose! 🎶🤍🎵

Funny Event Stories Friday!

On our wedding day we were going to be reading the Passover passage while the worship band played and sang over us.

We walked up to the table to read the passage before partaking in communion and it felt like 10 minutes went by of us trying to locate the passage because we couldn’t find it... so we laughed most of the time and spent the whole song searching.

Not as planned but just as fun and memorable. We got some fun pictures of us laughing.

All this to say - NOBODY’S wedding day goes by without glitches, no matter how much planning you did. Enjoy the day and laugh about the little things, they end up being your favorite.

I feel like I’m at Trader Joe’s at least once a week! Every time I’m there the florals catch my eye!

Pro planning tip #2: Go to a grocery store, buy all sorts of flowers and get some friends to come help you figure out your floral style! Have a fun night of arranging different bouquets until you see what you like!

My mom and I did this for my own wedding. We got greenery and flowers from Kroger and used the ideas we got from those and the arrangements we made to show to my actual florist once we booked one.

It’s fun, easy, AND you get some flowers for your house! Then, when your florist asks for your style - you’ll know and be able to trust your ideas!

Recommended grocery stores for florals: Costco, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Aldi, & Whole Foods! 🥀🌿🌾💐
