More than 600 competitors and 5,000 spectators participate in the annual Event at Rebecca Farm in beautiful northwest Montana. The Event is the largest equestrian triathlon in the West and is paired with an unmatched spectator experience, including food trucks, shopping fair and Kid Zone! The world's best horses and riders, as well as promising young competitors, compete in dressage, show jumping,

and cross-country in a combined triathlon. Admission is FREE and a $10 parking donation supports Halt Cancer at X. It's a perfect Montana day or weekend experience!

Rebecca Farm and the Broussard Family have been made aware of allegations of horse abuse regarding one of the 2023 Rebecca Broussard Developing rider Grant recipients. The Broussard Family has committed to investing in the sport of Eventing and its athletes for many years and we are deeply shocked and saddened by this information. We do not condone horse abuse in any capacity. The actions committed by the rider in question in no way align with the values the Broussard family believes are synonymous with Eventing and horsemanship. At the time of any rider’s application for a Rebecca Broussard Developing Rider Grant, if there are any open investigations or noted violations of any kind (such as a Yellow Card), the applicant is immediately deemed ineligible. At the time this grant was administered through the USEA Foundation in December of 2023, no information had been made available to us that would disqualify this rider in any way from being a recipient.

Course designers Ian Stark and Jay Hambly, along with former Rebecca Broussard Developing Rider Grant recipients, Andrew McConnan (’23), Tamie Smith (’15) and Sharon White (’11), offered insightful, fascinating and often colorful personal commentary, on a special evening course walk for FEI 4* and 3* owners in attendance at this year’s Event.

The evening was hosted by Montana Equestrian Events (MEE) in collaboration with the USEF and the USET. MEE’s Board, Event Director Jerome Broussard, USEF Eventing Director Amber Braun and USET Development Director Lisa Munro were also in attendance. MEE was proud to be one of four premier event hosts selected this year by USEF and USET to recognize and celebrate FEI owners.
