I’m LOVING the new blue snowflake theme!
This will be my first sale or market and I’ve been working hard to make sure I’ve got a good selection. I know some of the other vendors and at least one of them starts her prep work for this sale back in about August so you can be sure this will be a good one! Hope to see you there!

With just a little over a week to go before the market, I’m still working like crazy to get pieces ready to go, but I’d like to share a sample of what I’ll have available at the market. I’ve made sure to have a selection of fall, Christmas, winter, and everyday arrangements available. I have quite a few more that are already boxed up that aren’t pictured here, including a selection of LED lighted arrangements prepared.
*I will be taking holiday orders, but many of my Christmas Market pieces are in unique containers and not available for ordering.

Great news, I’ve figured out how to pack and ship flowers in a way that I’m comfortable that they’ll arrive intact at their destination!

Not all arrangement styles can be shipped, but I’m always happy to give recommendations to meet your needs.

Packing and shipping costs vary depending on the size of the arrangement, but the range is approx $15-20.

Some of my alltime favorite pieces came out of the specific requests I had for arrangements this week!

I ventured into the somewhat scary world of packing and shipping flower arrangements across the country. I made a few pieces based on a feelings/settings rather than a specific color combination (my mom really loves the southwest, do you think you could make it have a desert feel?), and my 11 year old son got involved to help ensure that my blue dye color for a memorial arrangements to honor a lifelong Lions fan was as close to perfect as I could get it. He’s usually pretty hands off with the flowers, but for this one he was willing to put on his jersey and make sure I got it right.

I was so busy assembling flowers and filling orders last weekend that I forgot to take pictures of most of my arrangements! I did manage to remember to grab a few of a couple of the large arrangements I made and a set of baby shower centerpieces that I just love!

I also have new inventory at the Shopping Basket Gift Shop. Make sure to stop in at the Shopping Basket Gift Shop in Kalkaska over the next couple weeks for store wide sale prices!

Since we don’t have any snow, I figured I might as well get some spring colors on my shelves. 🌻I finally had a chance to work that Mermaid Tail Green into an actual arrangement which I’m pretty excited about! It stands out as much in an arrangement as it does in the bin of dyed flowers waiting for their assignments! 😍 But even more importantly, I was finally able to take the time to make an example of each of my products and provide a more concrete description of each one with the photos. I’ve also updated order forms to eliminate the holiday theme and will pin the year round one to the top of the page along with my special event/corsage order form so they can be easily accessed. I’ve had a lot of interest in upcoming 2024 weddings and YES, I plan to do wedding flowers! My next project is to put together bridal package pricing for the basics (let’s not get carried away, lol!) and intend to have that available ASAP. (Although Rich says my next project is to reorganize my office to move my flowers out of our bedroom and into my actual office, we’ll see…🤷🏼‍♀️😂) Thank you so much to everyone who has helped launch my “accidental florist” dream into a reality over the past few months! I’m having so much fun with it and can’t wait to see where 2024 takes us!
