Count your blessings and if you haven’t gotten your heart checked or have not gone for a physical in years please do it for me. 😉

It was a year ago today that my heart beat could have stopped due to a major heart attack. I never focused on myself but was always focused on providing for others. The 100%, 85% and 65% blockages in my heart could have changed everything and it was very close but …. the good Lord watched over me and convinced me to take an aspirin that morning which thinned my blood just enough to make the trip to Waconda safely. Chest pains and cold sweats started when I rang my buddies doorbell. Hospital staff wouldn’t tell me how serious my heart attack was when it was occurring…but I find out much later that I was an hour away from a different outcome. I definitely do not like drawing attention to myself but if I can convince someone to go to the doctor and at least save themselves this is really what this post is all about🤔. If u are that guy or gal…who refused to go to the Doctor please do it for me and your family 🙏. I look back at this last 12 months and I cannot believe what I would have missed out on and how my hard headedness could have changed our family dynamic. Brothers and Sisters look at your last year. Look at the memories, family & friend time that you may have missed out on. Life is WAY TOO short. Get yourselves checked...it’s not worth the risk😞.

Final thought: Count your blessings and cherish every moment…you never know when the last grain of sand in your hourglass will drop🤔 us
