Doughgirls Catering was founded in 1997 by ME - Kristin Rodgers - in Kannapolis, NC. I am a mother of 4. My first two kids are less than a year a part. I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I quit my first grade teaching job but needed to help make ends meet. My mom had a small part time catering business with two other ladies in Whiteville, NC. I use to work with them at events throughout high school and college. Catering wasn’t totally foreign to me when I decided I wanted to give it a try. I started off by entertaining friends and family in our two bedroom mill home in Kannapolis. I convinced a few people to let me cater some events for them and as the word got out, the business progressed into what it is today. I use to be a one woman show but now I have 4 kitchen employees and 10-15 that I rely on to assist with events. I love what I do and love the people I have met along the way. I have made some wonderful friendships through my catering business. We pride ourselves on delicious food, beautiful table presentations, being reliable and on time. We use fresh products and lots of love when prepping and cooking food for events. We look forward to meeting you soon!!! Your Event Is Our Priority!!
