Let's get serious for a second....
As your wedding coordinator, I see it as my duty to make sure that you believe your wedding day went absolutely flawlessly. It's my job to make sure that fires are put out before they start smoking. It's my job to handle any issues without bringing you into the conversation (unless absolutely necessary).
You've done the planning. You've done the hard part. Wedding day is the time to let loose and embrace your hard work. To mingle with your loved ones, be in the moment with your new spouse, and enjoy your day.
Our approach to wedding day is this: We will not go out of our way to tell you things that went "wrong." We absolutely will not bring you into any conversations about issues unless MOH, Mother, or otherwise agrees is the best course of action. We will purposefully not tell you things on your wedding day. Should you want to know after, I'm happy to send a recap.
At the end of the day, you've hired us to not be stressed. What kind of coordinators would we be if we didn't uphold that standard?

Do you have loved ones you'd like to honor more than just at a memory table? Consider adding them into your ceremony or reception.
A few ways to honor your loved ones:
1. Photos reserving seats in the front row of ceremony
2. Dedicated table settings purposefully left empty assigned to late loved ones
3. Honoring loved ones by dedicating your bouquet to someone special
4. A moment of silence before dinner prayer honoring your late loved ones
We know just how hard it can be to celebrate without loved ones. If it's important to you, it's important to us. We'll help you find a way to honor their memory! 💚

The staff at Warren Place is attentive, friendly, knowledgable, flexible, and SO sweet to work with on wedding day. Working with them makes our coordinators jobs so easy, because they are super helpful!
Not to mention all the fabulous amenities they have to offer:

✨️: A cottage on-site that can be used the entire weekend - slumbie the night before, getting ready day-of, and a quick walk to bed the night of your wedding!

While in Nashville this week, Alexis is spending time with her full-time job's co-workers, enjoying good food, line dancing, and relaxing!!

I've said it before, and I will forever say it. I would not be where I am, this business would not be where it is, and I would've probably lost my sanity a long time ago if it wasn't for these girls.

One thing I regret from my wedding is purchasing a traditional, lined-page guestbook. I was lucky to have maybe 8 pages used, and now am stuck with a relatively empty book of lines. Something that doesn't hold a lot of meaning.
With a photo guestbook, more of your engagement pictures get to be seen by guests. You have pages filled will your love. It can be a coffee table stable in your home. It's something that holds meaning and is meant to be shown off.
Don't make the mistake I did! Personalize the details of your wedding day to fit your vision 🤩

Over 90% of our clients become more like friends - we celebrate so much more than the wedding. We celebrate new jobs, babies, graduations, vacations, and every single thing in between. Both before and after wedding day, I love getting to know the couple beyond their napkin choices, venue layouts, or color schemes.
I have poured my heart and soul into this business to help get it where it is today - and we're definitely not done yet. What keeps us grounded are the relationships we form with each and every single one of you. And that will never change.
Let's talk logistics!
During our time at this summer, we fell in love with the space, the architect, and their beautiful courtyard! However, one logistic that's a necessity at this venue is the cocktail hour flip.
We had an hour to flip the room from ceremony to reception - and without a coordinator, the task would not have gotten done!
What you don't see during the flip:
- Perfectly placing your tables/chairs to execute your layout & seating chart
- Making sure tablescape details are perfect
- Repurposing ceremony floral and arbors
- Checking in with DJ and bartenders to make sure they are ready to welcome guests back into the space
- Cleaning up any trash or unneeded items from ceremony
- Providing bride/groom with their signature drinks
- Checking in with catering to make sure they are on schedule for dinner
A coordinator is SO important for all the behind-the-scenes tasks, changes, and updates that can happen during your wedding day. Take it from us that peace of mind is priceless.

The marriage license is such an important detail - without it, you're not legally married!!
One traditional piece of a wedding is having the maid of honor and best man sign the marriage license. And while that's a great choice, we have seen firsthand that not all friendships pan out after the wedding is over.
A few people who could sign the marriage license and it be more meaningful:
1. Each side's grandmothers
2. Your siblings
3. Each side's mothers
4. Children (if you have them)
At the end of the day, this team is going to support your choices no matter what. Just don't forget that you don't have to follow the "normal traditions" - make your day about what's important to you!

While at KC Plans last week, spoke about quality over quantity when it comes to weddings. And while this year is a WHIRLWIND with over 50 brides choosing us in 2024, 2025 is going to look much different. We are beyond grateful that so many of you choose us to handle one of the biggest days of your life, but it's time to hone into our values.
I am fully leaning into the quality over quantity mindset, and here's why:
1. Some big changes are happening for me over the next few months
2. My girls deserve a positive work-life balance, especially because this is not their full-time gig
3. I want to be fully present and offer my best self to my brides - that means less to juggle and more time to go around.
At the end of the day, we are passionate about the service we provide our brides, and that means making adjustments to better ourselves. With all this being said, BOOK YOUR VENDORS ASAP. Spring 2025 is going quick, so don't wait to reach out to your favorites.

It's with a very very heavy heart that we share the passing of our beautiful bride, Tish. 💛
Back in March of this year, a team of amazing vendors pulled a whole wedding together in a matter of a week. Every single person involved was full of love, joy, and selflessness.
And to think it all started because of a post from a nurse.
Upon meeting Tish and Donovan in person, there was absolutely no question of their love for one another. There was not a dry eye during ceremony. There was nothing but positivity and love the entire day.
While Tish is no longer with us, her light, laughter, and love will forever be in our hearts. Tish said it best, "Always smile - you never know who could be looking at it."

What the bride-to-be me would tell the current wedding planner me- 1. This day is about no one else but you and your other half. Do NOT make decisions to please anyone else because you’ll (hopefully) only have this day once. 2. Don’t feel like you have to spend a ton of money to create your dream day. Using a planner/coordinator can really help to brainstorm ways to elevate your day without breaking the bank. 3. Don’t stress!! First look vs. aisle reveal Personally, I am team no first look. I love the authenticity of emotions when a groom catches the first glimpse of his bride. Here’s a few things to consider when deciding for your big day! 1. What’s your timeline like for photos? Do you have time between ceremony and reception for all the photos you want captured? A first look is a better way to give yourself more time in your plans for the rest of the evening. 2. Are you an anxious person? Sometimes an “aisle reveal” can heighten nerves and anxiety during the big day. Do you feel this would make a difference in your day? 3. A first look gives you some private time with your future hubby or wife before all the crazy happens. Wedding days go by so fast, it can feel like you barely have time to breathe. Do you need that moment together? 4. Are you okay with showing emotion in front of others? You never know how you’ll react seeing your partner in front of a large group of people. Consider this if planning to do an “aisle reveal” 5. If you’re still unsure, try consulting with your photographer. Chances are, they’ve done both in their experience and can help you weigh your pros/cons list and come to the best decision for your day!
