Pilgrim Chapel is a public chapel open to people of all faiths. The chapel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in the Hyde Park Historic District of Kansas City-- north of the Country Club Plaza. The Hyde Park Historic Homes Tour is back! It is Saturday, October 1, 2022.

It's easy to enjoy the Hyde Park Historic Homes Tour. We're conveniently located in Midtown Kansas City between Crown Center and the Plaza. We have designated parking at several locations where you can catch an air-conditioned shuttle bus and visit each stop on the Tour, or stroll at your leisure down tree-lined streets. This year we've got six incredible homes on Saturday's Tour.

Please save the date and watch for additional details for purchasing tickets. Updates will also be posted at www.hydeparkkc.org.

Welcome to Kansas City’s Historic Public Chapel! Pilgrim Chapel is a public chapel open to people of all faiths. The chapel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in the Hyde Park Historic District of Kansas City-- north of the Country Club Plaza. We celebrated our 75th Anniversary in 2016. Formerly the Lutheran Church for the Deaf, Pilgrim Chapel is now a public chapel serving people of all faiths.

Unfettered by plush trappings, Pilgrim Chapel is a fitting setting for couples who truly want the focus of their wedding ceremony to be the affection and commitment they share for one another and their family. With seating for 75 people, the stone chapel will comfortably accommodate close friends and beloved family members.

The natural ivy-covered stone walls, simple stained-glass windows and humble architecture make it an unpretentious backdrop for an intimate ceremony. The exterior’s lush trees and natural greenery also make it the perfect backdrop for capturing precious moments. But Pilgrim Chapel is not just a wedding chapel.
