I’ve been out of town or busy the last five weekends in a row … and they have all been absolutely amazing. However, I have been over the moon to be sitting in my living room editing the photos from Rachel and Eric’s August wedding today. Rachel told me that her colors were going to be corals, magenta, and pinks … I knew beautiful things were coming. More to come soon.

Kayla & Sean found me via friends of friends, and we hadn’t spoken directly before their wedding. As I was driving up to Peoria last Friday, I wasn’t sure what kind of wedding I’d be photographing. Turns out, it was my very favorite kind. The most real, the most laid-back, the most loving, the best. Congrats to Kayla & Sean!

This beautiful, wonderful bride has been the most patient with me as I edited all of my fall family sessions. She has not asked me once where her photos are at. She’s just been happy when I get some to her … and I’m very thankful. Now that I have time to edit her photos, I’m blown away again by how stunning she and her wedding were! ❤️

Arthi and family brought the colors! Ahhh! Also, I first met their oldest son at his first birthday party, which I photographed. Now he is 11. I feel old, but in the best way.

My third session last weekend was my beautiful friend Sarah and her family. I started taking their photos when they had 2 tiny kids … now look at them ❤️

My second session of seven last Saturday and Peoria was with Emily and Travis and their extended family. The beautiful thing about last weekend was that I got to see families that I’ve been taking photos of for over ten years in most cases. I’ve had the beautiful privilege of seeing these couples get married and add to their families, and I still get to see them and hug them year after year. Some people are worth freezing for. 😊

I was so excited when Jordan and Elayne asked if I could take photos for their family this fall. I got to meet their new baby boy Mack and their pup Feta. It was an adventure to try to get all six and one photo but I would say that we did it!
