Our favorite table option for wedding party? A King’s Table!! 👑

▪️It allows wedding party to sit with their dates

▪️It makes for better conversation for everyone at the table

You can even leave the space in front of just your chairs open if you want to have a more traditional set-up. It’s the best of both worlds!

We’ve been a little quiet on here…but we’ve been busy in real life!!

Our off season this year was filled with big projects and improvements!

▫️A full renovation of the back patio, making it larger and more accessible
▫️A new deck and a ramp into the house
▫️Custom built ceremony benches
▫️Updates to furniture and decor inside the house
▫️Changes to the design of our bar

I’ve been waiting for a wedding to have the After The Tone guestbook!

Guests leave a “voicemail” and the couple gets all of the recordings. We love
a handwritten note in a guestbook but there’s something really special about hearing the voices of your loved ones! 💕☎️

When I heard that Eric Carle had passed I immediately thought back to a birthday party we helped host last year.

The theme was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." It was a 1st birthday party for a very special baby boy. Every part of the celebration was thoughtfully planned around the book, a book cherished by this sweet family 🍎

Out of all of the reception games this one is by far the most entertaining!! It is a mash up of a scavenger hunt and musical chairs.

Several chairs get set up on the dancefloor. A handful of either bridal party or guests participate. The DJ announces an item that the participants have to find from around the room/from the audience and return with the item to the dancefloor. While the participants are looking for the item, the DJ removes a chair. The last person back is without a chair and therefore out. This continues until there is only one chair left and therefore a winner!

All of the guests get really into it and it's riot!

As much as we would love to we don't witness all of the meaningful and touching moments that happen on a wedding day. But just knowing that these special moments happen at our venue warms our hearts, it is such a honor!

Last May Jordan & Brad made last minute adjustments to be able to have an intimate wedding when COVID changed everything. One of Brad's groomsmen wasn't going to be able to come due to military commitments & COVID. But Brad wanted to include him in the portraits of him and his groomsmen, you may notice the cutout he's holding in the first picture.

Brad's groomsman pulled off the best possible surprise by getting leave and being there. The smiles on their faces say it all!!

The prettiest dessert display!

Individually boxed cupcakes are not only a great idea for COVID, they also make it much easier for guests to grab one to go at the end of the night! Doubling not only as your dessert but an edible favor too!
