As we close the chapter on another incredible year, we’re looking back with gratitude and pride at all we’ve accomplished in 2024. ✨

This year, Argyle Events by Sporting KC welcomed over 400,000 guests across 300+ events, including 16 fundraisers, 134 meetings and conferences, 42 dinners and holiday parties, and even 12,985 epic balloons in our vendors’ exquisite balloon décor! 🎈

We’ve been honored to collaborate with such a diverse range of clients—from local nonprofits making a difference to global brands pushing the envelope, and everything in between.

None of this would’ve been possible without YOU—our amazing clients, vendors partners, and team members who make every event unforgettable. Your trust and creativity inspire us to push the limits of what’s possible, and we can’t wait to dream even bigger with you in 2025. 💡💼

🎮✨ Ready Player One? Leveling Up the Gala Game ✨🎮

Our events team just hit the high score our annual Sporting KC Awards Gala: “Pitch Black: Game On!” 🎉 From start to finish, we powered up the night with video game nostalgia and immersive experiences that had everyone pressing start on the fun! ✨

From the start, we wanted guests to feel like they were on an adventure. We made sure they were quest-ready by equipping their packs with a Zelda-inspired map to navigate all the hidden levels throughout the event. 🔍

Arcade Alley in the Sporting Locker Room was like finding a hidden cheat code! 🎮 Guests were granted an exclusive peek into the Sporting Locker Room which was transformed into a retro gaming paradise. With vintage Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat battles, we kept everyone button-mashing through the night. 🕹️ And a secret bar was tucked away to keep the drinks flowing and the fun rolling! 🍹👾

We used the wall of TVs in the UMB Field club to tap into guests’ nostalgia – creating a Console Continuum - spanning from OG Nintendo to the latest consoles. Here, guests could respawn childhood memories and unlock new favorites. Meanwhile, the VR experience in the Interview Room sponsored by had guests warping into new dimensions! 🎧🕶️

No video game-themed event would be complete without an airbrush artist! 90s kids – you feel me? 🎨 An artist custom painted guests' names and/or the Sporting logo on hats and bags provided by —because even the swag needed its own upgrade! 🧢👜

Our menu was lit—literally! ✨For drinks, we served up signature cocktails like the Fire Flower—a GLOW IN THE DARK DRINK featuring . 🔥🍸

And for those ready to upgrade their skills, we offered intimate mixology classes taking place in our stadium speakeasy - the ultimate boss battle in drink-making. 🏆

We didn’t just create a theme—we leveled up the whole event, turning it into a fully playable experience. Game Over? Nope! We’re just getting started.

We love this innovative trend to host the wedding (ceremony, reception and all!) BEFORE the 'rehearsal dinner'.

"I've seen so many couples and families who are unable to enjoy their rehearsal dinners because they have to be up at 9am for hair and makeup the next day or because they're panicking about speaking or standing before a huge body of people. Couples who have made this decision cherish the time it gave them to relax."

We're all restructuring the "formal, traditional" wedding into something that feels more personal, and give couples more quality time to make memories with their loved ones.

"We are going to be able to relish and savor this special night in our lives, and then have this full weekend to really be present with our people. We feel like we are giving ourselves the greatest gift."
