Today I went to an estate sale & found an entire case and boxes of taxidermy bugs. I bought them all! The woman told me her mother Barbara (I believe), was a science teacher. Who would take the science kids to competitions for entomology. When she passed her daughter now needed to sell her collection.

This is the first artwork I made with some beetles from the boxes. I have dragon flies, moths, butterflies, and mosquitoes.

✝️This film is so important because it’s an honest look at how the roles we play in our immediate family affect each other, our decisions, and people’s perception of our choices.

🫀It’s a messy, honest, and heartfelt look at the length the oldest in a family would go to protect his younger sibling.

🌱Log-line: After his mother dies, James plans to run away but is forced to confront the abuse he was born into.
