The KC Nanobrew Festival is the original festival in KC dedicated to local homebrewing and giving the public a chance to see all the amazing brewing talent we have in our community. We love attending beer festivals and sampling all the great craft brewing that has transformed over the past few years from hobby to the soaring success we enjoy today. So it has been our mission to provide the best fe
stival experience for the best price. Our admission includes unlimited tastings from nearly 100 unique home brewed beers, a full-size souvenir glass, food, and entertainment! If you’re like us, you also hate lines and massive crowds and prefer to hang out with friends and fellow enthusiasts to talk about brewing, beer, and other nonsense while enjoying locally crafted brews. That’s why we strictly cap our attendance based on the number of beers we plan to have on tap and the capacity of the venue. We began as the Brookside Nanobrew Festival, a gathering of about 100 friends and brewers at a residence in Brookside. While the event has grown and become open to the public, we want to retain that community atmosphere, excellent access to tasting homebrew and talking with brewers, and give attendees the best experience possible. We’re not backed by a corporation or other business interests. It’s always been about the brewers and connecting them with the community and we’re intent on maintaining that mission.
