Wow, what a Monday! 1600 pounds of surplus prepared food! Meals are on family dinner tables tonight thanks to our food donors and with the people-power of our fantastic volunteers. Thanks, staff from , pictured here with a neighbor and our volunteer coordinator. And thanks to (not pictured) another nine generous people who gave their time today to enable family mealtime for people with food insecurity and decrease food waste. best wishes for your first year at college, Nina!

Thank you to the ICAEF for helping to fund our Kids Feeding Kids Summer Educator Institutes! This summer we will train 30 teachers to deliver the KFKids program in their classrooms for the 2024-25 school year.

Lon Lane III, Immediate Past Chairman of the ICAEF, highlights the significance of this support. "The grant provides essential resources to programs like Kids Feeding Kids, enabling them to enhance curriculum development, fund educational events, facilitate instructor training, and produce educational materials."
