Fear. Self doubt. Failure. Inferiority. Competition. Comparison.

All of these emotions are ones that I have felt over the past year when contemplating whether or not to start my own business. I do not think that is abnormal but it’s a position I’ve never found myself in.

Prayer. Consultation. Prayer. Research. Prayer. Discussions. Prayer. Design. Oh and prayer.

Finding my passion came after I began my career in teaching. To work at the wedding venue that Jake and I got married at was a dream come true. To find family, friends, mentors, and learning experiences was a God send and clearly His carefully woven path for me. I gained experience and knowledge that can only be taught through hands on, real life situations. How to truly think on my feet, be creative, take charge of a situation (and if you know me, this is way out of my comfort zone outside of my job and in day to day situations), and truly lose myself in a passion only The Lord is driving. After leaving to spend time with my babies, I have felt the calling to return to the industry but on my own (and God’s) terms. To abide. To lean into the work I am being called to do.
