Happy first week of the year!

I’m still on winter break, trying to enjoy a little R&R before we come back.

I’ll be replying in-between our break ASAP to all the lovely inquiries that came through the past couple of weeks.

I’ll also be announcing a open house date soon where you can come meet the team, view our work, and learn more about our services. 😊

2022 is around the corner and as we prepare for all the lovely inquiries and events next year, one tip I want to share When searching for a venue, is to consider lighting!!

Is there window light, are up lights included or need to be brought by a dj, does it have ceiling lights, chandeliers etc?

Lighting can transform a space!

Also, it helps to have a knowledgeable photo video team who can tackle any lighting situation to make sure you look your absolute best😉✨

Can we all take a moment to imagine that this will be us at the end of our school/work week?

I sure will! Because this work week is going to be a 👏🏼long👏🏼 one.

But first, I’ll rest, and reset today at home. And I encourage everyone to take time rest this week, if you don’t already.

You don’t have to follow society’s “hustle” mode 24/7. How exhausting is that. Rest actually stimulates and sustains creativity. And it prevents the dreadful “burnout”.

I can go on and on about how taking a sabbath (day of rest) has blessed me, but We have to enter into Rest, it’s an action and it takes discipline and planning. And I promise you once it’s in motion, it’s truly a gift.

Try it—You can Start by creating a rhythm in your week. Set boundaries for work/school hours. Find a time to rest. Find what you want to do, Then do it! Even if it’s a day off or a few hours to simply enjoy life, it’s so helpful.

So catch me at home today, resting—Unavailable and unbothered. 🙈✌🏼😎

I love when families embrace each second of their event. This was taken during the dinner, while The Mariachi was playing. No announcement, no plan, simply enjoying the moment.

These in-between moments can last just a few minutes, but hopefully they can be relived for many more years through our portraits.
