The Romack House, built in 1905 by Giles Elam Romack; estimated photo date 1910. Now it is best known as Cottage Charm. A unique country cottage/events venue located in the heart of Old Katy, Texas. It sits on ½ acre that is completely shaded by 100-year-old trees.

BOTTOM: W. J. "Bill" Dube bought Carey Pitt's grocery store and in 1947, built a brick supermarket west of it on the northeast corner of Second Street and Avenue B. Dube’s store was expanded to include a variety store and the Katy Post Office in 1957. The market closed in 1974 (variety store stayed open) and was a antique mall owned by Cindy Gruener Janda from 1994 - 2010. Bill Bain then purchased the building which is now KT Antiques.
