Update:

So we have been hopeful and have held out updating until today and the new tenant has been ordered to evict.

That said, all of you that posted; your efforts were not in vain.
We are in discussions with Meliks current employer for her to start doing Indo specials there.

Will update soon.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Update:

We wanted to thank everyone for responding to our previous post, and for all of the well wishes and love from all of you.

We have an update; unfortunately for about last few weeks we haven't really been able to get a hold of Noah (the new owner of the building) as he is building a house up north, as well as completely gutting and renovating the old Tommy T's Club 59 in Waterford, (which I believe is set to open around the new year). This is in addition to running his existing restaurant and reopening the old Indo Space; I've seen the build out; the dining room and kitchen look great. Quite ambitious; I have to tip my hat to the audaciousness, however, we have not been able to meet after many missed appointments, so we are very uncertain as to how this is all going to come together. We have yet to see a menu, and when I spoke briefly with Noah this past Friday he said he was set to open next week. We were supposed to meet Saturday at the new space to discuss everything, but again; no call, no show. He did purchase our liquor license, and made a deal to purchase some of our equipment, although there is an outstanding payment due. I do believe this is all going to come together; however I am not at all confident in the proposed timeline, at least not with Melik opening. I do not doubt that Melik could walk into just about any kitchen anywhere and with her gifts and skills; would pickup the menu and own it. However, this situation is not simply unideal, with a little planning and communication, it needed not happen.

In any case we are still hopeful, but we felt that we needed to give our friends, fans, and loyal customers an update.

Even if this doesn't work out; since we posted last, Melik has had a few new opportunities present themselves, and one of our friends has offered to be a co-investor in a food truck (it’s about $100k for a for one outfitted to Melik’s requirements) if anyone would be interested in being an investor please email us at [email protected]

Thanks again for your patience and support

HI,

We have been talking to a lot of you (our friends and customers) through messaging as well as our home Chef and Catering customers and telling people that we we will be putting updates as soon as we know what's going on. So we have a pretty idea as to what's going on right now so here's some updates for you

There is a new owner of the building his name is Noah, he owns a family restaurant in Pontiac as well as another place that he is refurbishing in Waterford which he plans to open up around the new year.

As for the old Indo space, he plans to open a bar restaurant and he is purchasing our liquor license, and some of our equipment, and he wants Melik to be a chef and some of the menu will be the best selling dishes from indo.

What we would like to do in addition to the best sellers is request that you, all of our customers and friends; please comment on this post and list your 3 favorite dishes (appetizers, soups, entrees or deserts), and 2 favorite craft cocktails and we will do our best to put them on the menu or at least run them as specials.

We don't have any details on the opening date; we should be able to have this for you next week. We look forward to letting everyone know and provide more details about this.

It has been a really hard road recovering from all the losses we have suffered, as well as the thefts, embezzlement, fraud by the former landlord and rik who the landlord evicted and apparently won a large settlement against in court.

We also wanted to thank everyone for your patience and for supporting us; I know it's been a long time since we've put an update up but hang in there and we'll see you soon

thanks again for all your support, well wishes and thoughts we really appreciate it.
