What an incredible weekend for the 58th Annual Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships!

On behalf of the tournament planning committee and the Wisconsin Rapids Aqua Skiers, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event a success.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, skiers, spectators, and especially our dedicated volunteers. This tournament would not be possible without your support! Our volunteers, including Aqua Skiers Alumni, team members' families, community members, and other teams, truly make the difference.

🌊 Meet Your Host Team, the Aqua Skiers! 🚤

The Aqua Skiers will hit the water second to last on Friday, July 19th, at the Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships!

Their 2024 show theme is "The Pro Water Ski Tour," a tribute to past professional water ski shows worldwide, including Tommy Bartlett's, Cypress Gardens, and Germany’s Holiday Park.

This young team has been dedicatedly mastering barefooting, swivel skiing, jumping, trick skiing, and more over the past few years. They are honored to host the world’s largest and longest-running show water ski tournament and are committed to making it bigger and better every year!

Wi State Staging Area Revision:

After receiving feedback from teams, the Aqua Skiers will be redirecting pedestrian traffic coming from the campground around the equipment trailer parking. With the pedestrian foot traffic redirected, we will be completely blocking off the staging area. Please see the revised aerial photo for reference.

🌊 Meet the Beaverland Must-skis Waterski Show Team 🌊

They are the 8th team to hit the water on Saturday, July 20th. This year marks their 30th season on the water, and their theme is “The Great Gatski”. 🎩✨

The Must-Skis will be rewinding the clock to the roaring 20s. Inspired by the Great Gatsby, in an era where skiing is strictly prohibited, Gatski strives to be reunited with his epic love, Daisy. Throughout the show, he seeks to capture her attention through illicit skiing and extravagant parties. 🎉

Stay tuned to discover whether Gatski will be reunited with his love as the Must-Skis ski their way through the roaring 20s! 🕰️🚤
