We are a family-owned event venue featuring our restored rock barn, now called the Mountain Creek Lodge. The Lodge is a true mix of Oklahoma history looking towards the future with the barn's original architecture enhanced by modern upscale accents. Once Upon A Time...my grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Cornelius had a general store that serviced the rural community between present day Kellyville an

d Bristow just 4 miles south of Route 66. The store was named the Mountain Creek Store. They also made their home next to the store and built a rock barn around 1939. Before my grandmother passed away my father promised her that he would restore the rock barn. While we were deciding how we wanted to use the newly refurbished barn we would have members of the community stop in and be so excited that we were giving the barn a new life. So we decided to open the barn up to people looking for a venue to accent their important family moments. We are lucky enough to host weddings, receptions, reunions, anniversaries and other life events there. That is why our motto is "Where Our History Can Be Yours".
