Why wait until Election Day? Beat the lines and vote early!

• Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday, October 26: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday, October 27: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Monday, October 28 – Friday, November 1: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Early voting gives you the flexibility to choose when you want to cast your ballot. Plus, it’s a great way to avoid the rush on Election Day!

Public Works has advised us that today’s heavy rain bands, wind and storm surge have forced the closure of a couple of city streets.

For your safety, we ask that you not move or drive around barricades and if you see water covering a road, turn around, don’t drown.

Still time to come in and vote early!

It's not too late to avoid Election Day lines. You can still take advantage of early voting today and tomorrow (Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30).

The Jimmie Walker Community Center's polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to any registered Galveston County voter.

Residents registered to vote in Galveston County can vote at any county polling location.

The City of Kemah will hold a general election on Saturday, May 4, and early voting is now underway!

Early voting will be held each weekday at:

800 Harris Ave
Kemah, TX 77565

Early voting dates and times are:
- Monday, April 22, 2024 - Friday, April 26, 2024:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, April 29, 2024 - Tuesday, April 30, 2024
7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Community Center will be a polling location for early voting for the May 4 election.

Early voting will take place from April 22 - 26, 8 am - 5 pm, and April 29 - 30 from 7 am - 7 pm.

We were so happy to host this year's Easter Eggstravaganza! Thanks to Cool Cow Creamery for the incredible ice cream, Kemah Police Department for sharing Officers Hopkins and Mancillas with us, and the Easter Bunny for the smiles.
