Yesterday we had a bday party that included a photoshoot.
I had to play photographer and horse handler at the same time...
For the fact, that I am nowhere close to being a professional photographer, I am pretty happy with how the pictures came out!

I guess in his mind it is just fair that if the pony in the mirror is allowed to live inside he wants to be a house pony as well...

After well over 1.5 years we went back to ride with TTCC (Texas Trail Challebge Club) at the "Salute To The Troops" ride.
Jack did amazing and surprised me once again!

Ok, some of you knew and some of you didn't.
Mr. Percy has been in the equine hospital since Wednesday.
He has had a septic joint and the doc's gave him a little more than a 50/50 chance...
However: he is doing well and is responding great to the treatment he is receiving.
If he stays stable until Monday we will be able to pick him up again- we miss our little clown tremendously!!!

Guys- if you have horses and they have an injury next to a joint : DO NOT WAIT!!! GET THEM SEEN ASAP!!! This is what saved Percy's life!!
If I would have not had Sandra and Derek-Rebecca Vess I would have not known either!!!
An injury close to a joint should ALWAYS be treated as an emergency!!!
