Kaitlyn grew up in Kennedy and attended South Lamar School until 2013 when she moved with her family to Winfield where she graduated from Winfield City School in 2017. In high school, Kaitlyn started working at Barbara’s Flower Shop and began learning to arrange flowers. A lifelong artist, Kaitlyn’s interest in theatre and artistic expression led her to meet her husband, Kai, while performing at the Pasttime Theatre.

Being a florist means prepping for the big day early!❤️ Here’s a sneak peek of some supplies I’ve gotten for Valentine’s Day. Lots of pretty glitter for our glitter roses!✨ 🌸order today!🌸

You live in a small town and you need to send flowers. You search “flower shops in my town” or “Flower shops in my area” only to receive a confusing plethora of floral ads for shops you’ve never even heard of! 🌸We get it, we’ve been there and yes, it’s stressful! Luckily I’ve got you covered so keep reading! First things first! If you want to order any sort of flower the best way to do so is to order over the phone or in person at your nearest flower shop! But not everyone is able or is comfortable with phone calls or in person stop-by (I don’t blame you!)❤️ So when you search “Florists in my area” you’ll get LOADS of ads for places like Ava’s Flowers or Just Roses and loads more. They always promise delivery in your area as well as reeling you in with 20% off coupons. It’s a load of bologna!✨ These are third party wiring services. Meaning they trick customers into paying them for a phone call. 🌸Meaning: they falsely advertise bouquets and services claiming they fill them, when all they do is take your payment for an order and call a real florist to actually make and deliver it. A large percentage of your money goes into paying them for a phone call. So of that $40 very large bouquet you just ordered, the actual florist only receives $30. (And we can’t make very large flowers for $30)😅 So a lot of the time, customers are dissatisfied with the tiny flower that ends up being sent or they’re upset because the order won’t be filled and they have to go through the hassle of calling customer support to get their money back! *Yikes* 🌸So if you want that really large bouquet and you want the most bang for your buck, shopping local is key!💕 Order online through the actual local florists website or give them a call! You’ll get brownie points and a very beautiful arrangement!✨
