Flower Feature Friday - Today's flower feature is sedum. It has tiny, tiny flowers! This was originally used for an event and we had a few stems left and were used in our "Cube of Bliss" arrangement. Enjoy!

Flower Feature Friday - This week's flower is called "Caspedia" - aka Billy Balls. I also saw another nickname called Drumstick flower! These little guys just add a pop of color and texture into any arrangement and naturally come in yellow but are also available in many other dyed colors. Don't mind our crazy selfie - it's quite out of character for Audrey & me:)

Tidbit Tuesday! Today's tidbit is a display of fun photos as we transition the store decor to a fall look. Audrey did an amazing job on the large picture window display and Lisa did a beautiful job on the store displays! Thanks to both ladies! On another note - fall candles are on the way! Don has whipped up some new scents & is designing their labels. Stay tuned!

Flower Feature Friday - Today's flower we are featuring is the Gerbera Daisy! This one is called "Elan" and has a bi-color instead of a solid color (we usually carry solid pink, orange, yellow, white etc.). This particular gerb was special ordered for funeral work that will be made up this weekend. Enjoy this little beauty!

Tidbit Tuesday is spider-related! Today's tidbit is in light of some recent cleaning I was doing in my sunroom. I went to plug in the vacuum cleaner and my hand brushed through a spider web! (creepy)🙃 On a more pleasant note, we carry "spider" mums in the store (not so creepy). They come in white, yellow, lavender, and dark purple. Enjoy!

Today’s tidbit is about a technique called “gridding.” Gridding is the act of taping clear floral tape in a grid-shape on a wide mouth vase to prevent the flowers from sloshing around! Who knew?

Tidbit Tuesday - Today's Tidbit relates to flowers that are safe around cats. This is a relatively common question from our customers. According to PetMD by Chewy, the 12 flowers that are safe for cats include: Alstroemeria, Asters, Liatris, Freesia, Gerbera Daisies, Lisianthus, Orchids, Roses, Snapdragons, Statice, Sunflowers, & Wax Flower. I would still keep an eye on your kitty cat though, they can be quite inquisitive!

Tidbit Tuesday - Today’s tidbit features an “Ocean Series” of fairly new chrysanthemum colors. Cushions mainly come in yellow, lavender, white, green and a few other colors. These blue cushions have added a fun new option when people ask for blue flowers. Besides blue delphinium or blue hydrangea, options have been limited! Blue cushions enter the spotlight!!🌸💕

Tidbit Tuesday - Today’s tidbit is a reveal of a fun trendy pocket boutineer! Instead of the traditional boutineer with the flower stems wrapped on the bottom and fastened onto a man’s suit lapel, these flowers are created inside a “pockette” which slides into a man’s suit pocket. They are a big hit for weddings these days! Fun!
