We are family floral house with over 25 years of experience in the industry and a strong decade in the Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia marketplace conducting floral business around the city. Petals to the Metal owner and lead designer, Oscar Andrade brings over 10 years of experience in the floral industry. Oscar was exposed to the floral business from a young age, growing up in his family’s flower shop in Miami, Florida. Oscar studied to become an aircraft technician and worked as an airline sheetmetal mechanic before returning to the floral business in 2004. Since then, he has provided floral consultation and design for corporate events, weddings, galas, holidays, as well as, interior home design in Miami, Austin and the District.
