So Andre 3000’s new album Nah, Not at all. This is like MJ playing baseball. Not what we’re waiting for or hoping for. But hey he can make the music he wants, I just won’t be listening to his flute album. Hey but it worked for Jethro Toll. They won a Grammy for the best Heavy Metal album with some flute 🐂💩. 🤷‍♂️😂 So he will probably win a best Hip Hop album Grammy. 🤣☠️

Things are starting to pick up for as my calendar starts to fill up. I still have some openings, especially in the next couple of months. But book me now, before my calendar is completely full. I am excited to announce, I just started a new job as a subcontractor with Injoy Entertainment, for mobile DJ so things could fill up quick. Looking forward to the opportunity to learn and grow with them as I become even more professional as DJ. I am about to reinvest in myself, with some equipment upgrades as well.

Save the date May 19th! Still working out the details but I am starting a monthly Reggae/Dancehall night at The Vessel Taphouse in Lynwood! I will be spinning Reggae and Dancehall all night. I will also be booking one live act as a little intermission in between sets. The plan as this monthly night grows is to have bigger artist and guest DJs as well. It’s been said many times that a night like this is much needed on the North End, so here it is! Get ready to dance to your favorite Reggae and Dancehall songs soon! So please help me build this and make this a permanent thing.

I am going to start picking a new album of the month as a recommendation. This is my pick for January. If you’re a fan of the the TV show Snowfall or stories or concept albums this is for you. Extraordinary, underrated emcee, Skyzoo raps from the point of view of Franklin Saint. It’s like hearing the main character, of the FX series inter thoughts as he navigates the highs and lows of the beginning of the crack era of the early 80’s LA. Skyzoo’s pen game is on full display here here as he floats over the top notch jazz soaked, production of The Other Guys.
