Join us for a flower arrangement workshop on Tuesday February 13th at !

You will be provided with a vase, premium florals and all materials & tools needed!

Patron Saint will be offering their full menu and drink specials during the duration of the workshop with last call at 7:30PM.

The event starts at 6pm allowing you enough time to get situated with a guided floral design demonstration starting at 6:30PM, that will last about 20 minutes. After that you are free to design, mingle, and ask questions!

One of my favorite tablescapes of last year was this beautiful set-up for the Nomad Dinner.

The landscape was enchanting and the dinner was thoughtfully curated with a French cuisine in mind.

A great tip for creating an experience for guests when they approach the table is to have a well designed menu in place. It is a simple alternative to a charger and serves the purpose when the dishes are not placed on the table at setup.

Unless you are renting two sets of dishes, one for setting and one for serving - I suggest offering guests this uncomplicated option that still adds a touch of magnificence. The effect will continue on through the night when their meal is served on a timeless piece of china - my favorite take on surprise & delight and a gentle invitation to savor the reveal.

Fun Fact: Though I’ve always collected dishes and teacups throughout my life - the first established collection of S&L was vintage vases and pottery.

Before renting vintage tableware, floral design in vintage glassware was my main gig alongside refinishing vintage furniture. The charm of this vase/pottery closet is intoxicating and always filled with wonder.

Another fun fact - whenever I try to record videos in this closet there is an alarming amount of static in the audio…👻

✨Bridal Shower Magic✨

THE STORY.
Last year, I had the idea of partnering with a bride for full creative and design freedom.

A few weeks later, Tara had sent me an email with hopes of collaborating together for her shower. She lived in LA but wanted to host her shower here in NE Ohio.

We’ve spent the last year working together on our vision of creating an experience for her guests that made them feel just for a moment, that they were transported to Italy for an afternoon luncheon.

We decided on the perfect location in between rows of grape vines on an orchard in Ashtabula, Ohio - the town that Tara was from.

Call us crazy, but we had full faith that the weather would cooperate in the year ahead…

Of course the only rain in sight was on shower day. I truly believe it was the powers of the Aquarius that kept the rain at bay until the shower was over. (Fun fact: We discovered we had the same birthday!) 👯‍♀️

CREATIVE & DESIGN.
This was a full service event and included; Event branding & aesthetic, paper design & printing, detail coordination, floral design, tablescape design, custom linens, dish rentals and creative builds.
