We have been under construction/major remodeling since late fall of 2023. We had a vision, it was a tough road, but we are finally there! We are happy to announce we have our first in house event on Sat June 8th! We cannot express how happy we are with the transformation! Many people/contractors were involved to make this all come together. Special thanks to all of you to make this dream of ours possible: Adam, Matt, and Glen Schlies, Tony Wallace, Tina Chervenka, Steve Ihlenfeldt Plumbing, Nick, Liz, Shane Delebreau.

We still have work to be done on the outside! A new covered patio will be added to the East, as well as brand new siding to the entire exterior. Stay tuned for completion through the summer!~ Jed and Alli Pansier

Est. 2016

I have had a lot of people ask me lately if we are open. The answer is, Yes. Myself, Cassie Jelinek, Randy Vandenack, and Scott Witt are the proud owners of Classix. We purchased the building in October of 2016.

Scott owns his own business (Wittie’s DJ Service) and has a full time job. Randy owns and operates the Port O’ Call on the beautiful Kewaunee Harbor. I work at Port O’ Call, manage an AirBnB property and am working on another rental property with my awesome husband. We saw the need for a banquet hall and catering around Kewaunee when we were working together at the Port O’ Call. All of us have experience in banquets, buffets, bar service, and event planning and decided to team up.

When we first opened the doors at Classix we knew the building would need a lot of work since it had been sitting empty for about three years. The first winter of owning it involved a lot of removing old equipment from the kitchen, prep room, basement and storage rooms and doing an inventory of what was left in the building. We also started to work on remodeling the upstairs apartment and added a stairway so we would be able to rent it out. Next, we got the water moving again. That was a water works adventure to say the least! We moved on to the boiler and got that ole girl up and running again. Thanks to my Dad, Bob Boettcher, we got a lot of the limping equipment cleaned and tuned up and back to working order. This all took about six months to take care of.

We finally got to move on to cleaning walls, painting the hall, installing pizza ovens and other kitchen machinery, redoing our prep room floor and walls, re doing an office, fixing up bathrooms, more painting, redoing our beautiful banquet hall floor and bringing it back to life, doing 1000’s of dishes, and general maintenance of the lawn.
