However it is believed that the Maori people of New Zealand were the first pioneers as the originators of poi.

This was AMAZING. The MC gives you some history about a particular region of Polynesia and then they perform the traditional dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, etc. The whole thing was just super interesting and really well put together. The food and service were killer, too. 10/10. Mahalo Shasta and Damien of for an awesome experience. 🙏
