First off- I love capturing growing families! So so stoked on the outcome of this Mommy and me shoot +newbie in the belly. It's such a precious time of life to freeze frame and enjoy, when there was just one little crazy child that ruled your universe.

BTS- What isn't photographed was the huge meltdown in between outfit changes when little Mr. wanted so desperately to go play in the ocean. Special shoutout to super mama and one of my most beautiful friends here for holding strong through the madness. It can be extremely hard sometimes when this happens during a shoot, to not want to just give up when they get tough. It can seem impossible to get something good out of it. But we did our best, we paused, reset, took a break and look what we got! You can't even tell how much sweat and tears it took. 😅 Now, you will forever be happy you did cause these images are so so darling.

Congratulations to Trevor and Sarah on their destination Maui Wedding! They were surrounded by some of their close friends and family for a lovely ceremony at Maluaka Beach. I realized I don't have much on my social media platforms that allows people to see who's behind the lens, so I'm putting more focus into showcasing myself and not just my work. Photography isn't just about knowing camera settings and composition skills, a humongous part of it is connecting with people. Making them feel comfortable, directing and guiding them through a shoot so they don't feel awkward or are counting the minutes till the shoot is over. My shoots end with "That was fun!" Which is why this is my passion. Cause when you love your job, you'll never work again.
