We hope this message finds you well. We want to take a moment to update you on the current state of LoneStar Speedway and express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and enthusiasm for the racing season, despite the unfortunate cancellation.

As many of you know, the future of LoneStar Speedway has always been a topic of great interest and speculation. The property owners have long held different visions for the site, which did not initially include dirt track racing. However, the strong and passionate appeal from the local community to keep the track open for racing led us to agree, on the condition that the community would take on the responsibility for the track and its events.

Over the past seasons, LoneStar Speedway's staff has worked diligently alongside the current promoter Patrick Oerter / O.R. Motorsports LLC to bring exciting events to life. Additionally, the Knight-Lefear Investment Team has quietly played a crucial role in this journey. They have generously sponsored various events, forgiven contractual financial obligations, and provided more support than they have publicly received credit for. Their commitment and contributions have been instrumental in keeping the spirit of racing alive at our beloved track.

Despite these efforts, it is with a heavy heart that we share the current promoter has encountered challenges that they were unable to overcome, leading to their withdrawal. While this is an unfortunate turn of events, we want to assure you that LoneStar Speedway remains open for all scheduled future events, including monster truck shows and other private and public gatherings.

The vision for LoneStar Speedway has always encompassed more than just a single sport or activity. We see it as a versatile facility that can (and will) host a variety of events, bringing joy and excitement to our community in multiple ways. We are incredibly grateful to the local volunteers who have dedicated countless hours and resources to help us maintain and enhance the track. Your support has been invaluable.

Since the cancellation of the last racing event, we have received inquiries from several promoters interested in taking over. However, we are currently evaluating our options and are not yet certain if we will move forward in that direction.

We understand that many of you may have questions or concerns about the future of LoneStar Speedway. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. Your feedback and inquiries are important to us.

Thank you once again for your incredible support and passion for LoneStar Speedway. Together, we will continue to create memorable experiences and keep the spirit of our community alive.

The Knight-lefear Investment Group has been at the forefront of promoting youth engagement at LoneStar Speedway. We remain committed to supporting young fans at the track. For the past several races, and continuing into the future, we will offer free tickets to children with the purchase of an adult ticket online.

Additionally, if you know any elementary or junior high students who have excelled academically this past year, please tag their parents. We would like to recognize their achievements with free tickets for this weekend's event, and one lucky student will have the honor of waving the green flag.
